The Titanic Rivet

Andrew Little's Grandfather, Robert Adair, had worked on all three of the Olympic-class liners at Harland and Wolff's Belfast yard. Andrew has a rivet, which, he says, belonged to his Grandfather, and this rivet is polished, and engraved with 'Olympic 1910', and was utilised as a simple paperweight.

He sent me a poem he had penned, 'The Titanic Rivet', together with some pictures of his grandfather, and I used these to put this page together.
