Thomas Joseph McCormack boarded the Titanic at Queenstown, Ireland, on Thursday, 11th April, 1912, traveling to Bayonne, New Jersey.

Thomas Joseph McCormack was traveling with his cousins, John Kiernan and Philip Kiernan.

John Kiernan and Philip Kiernan were both lost in the sinking of Titanic, and their bodies were not recovered, however, Thomas Joseph McCormack managed to board lifeboat Collapsible B, and survived.

Thomas Joseph McCormack died on 4th November, 1975, and was buried in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, Hudson County,. New Jersey.
