Martha Evelyn Stone boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Also traveling on the same ticket was Amelie Icard, who was maid to Martha Evelyn Stone.

Martha Evelyn Stone and Amelie Icard both managed to board lifeboat No. 6, and survived the sinking of the Titanic.

Martha Evelyn Stone died on the 12th May, 1924, and she was buried in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, U.S.A.
