Malvina Helen Cornell boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Malvina Helen Cornell was traveling with friends Caroline Lane Brown and Charlotte Appleton.

Charlotte Appleton and Malvina Helen Cornell both managed to board lifeboat No. 2, and survived the sinking of the Titanic. Caroline Lane Brown managed to board lifeboat Collapsible D, and also survived.

Malvina Helen Cornell died on 12th July, 1941, and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, Bronx County, New York, U.S.A..
