Mini Biography

Madeleine Violet Mellinger was traveling with her mother, Elizabeth Anne Mellinger, and they boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Elizabeth Anne Mellinger and Madeleine Violet Mellinger both managed to board lifeboat No. 14, and were later transferred to lifeboat No. 12, and both survived the sinking.

Madeleine Violet Mellinger died on the 27th May, 1976, and she was buried in Saint Johns Anglican Church Cemetery, Welland County, Ontario, Canada.
