Joseph Philippe Lemercier Laroche was traveling with his wife, Juliette Marie Louise Laroche, and the couple's two daughters, Louise Laroche and Simonne Marie Anne Andrée Laroche. The Laroche family boarded Titanic at Cherbourg, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, bound for Haiti.
Joseph Philippe Lemercier Laroche was lost in the sinking, and his body was not recovered, but his wife, Juliette Marie Louise Laroche, and children Louise Laroche and Simonne Marie Anne Andrée Laroche all managed to board lifeboat 14, and survived the sinking.
