Lily Alexinia Potter boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg, France on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Lily Alexinia Potter was traveling with her friends Olive Earnshaw and Margaret Bechstein Hays.

Margaret Bechstein Hays, Olive Earnshaw and Lily Alexinia Potter all managed to board lifeboat No. 7, and they all survived the sinking of Titanic.

Lily Alexinia Potter died on the 1st January, 1954, and she was buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., the same place that her friend and traveling companion, Olive Earnshaw, was also buried.
