Leila Meyer was traveling with her husband, Edgar Joseph Meyer, and they boarded Titanic at Cherbourg, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, bound for New York City, New York.

Leila Meyer wanted to remain aboard Titanic with her husband, but she was forcibly placed in lifeboat 6, and survived the sinking. Edgar Joseph Meyer was lost  in the sinking, and his body was not recovered.
