Juliet Cummings Taylor was traveling with her husband, Elmer Zebley Taylor, and they boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to East Orange, New Jersey.

Elmer Zebley Taylor and Juliet Cummings Taylor both managed to board lifeboat No. 5, and survived the sinking of the Titanic.

Juliet Cummings Taylor died on the 23rd April, 1927, and she was buried in Saint Peter's Cemetery, Smyrna, Kent County, Delaware, U.S.A., the same place that her husband, Elmer Zebley Taylor, was also buried.
