Henry Samuel Morley was traveling with Kate Florence Phillips, and they both boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912. Henry Samuel Morley was bound for New York City, New York, and Kate Florence Phillips was traveling to Los Angeles, California.

Henry Samuel Morley was eloping with Kate Florence Phillips, and in an effort to protect their identity, they were traveling on Titanic under the names of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall.

Henry Samuel Morley was lost in the sinking of the Titanic, and his body was not recovered, but Kate Florence Phillips managed to board lifeboat No. 11, and survived the sinking of the Titanic.
