George Andrew Brereton boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

George Andrew Brereton was a gambler, and traveled under the name of George Brayton.

George Andrew Brereton managed to board lifeboat No. 9, and survived the sinking of the Titanic. He was later transferred to lifeboat No. 15.

George Andrew Brereton died on the 16th July, 1942, due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and he was buried in Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A.
