Frank John Goldsmith was traveling with his wife, Emily Alice Goldsmith, and their twin boys, Frank John William Goldsmith and Nathan Goldsmith, and the Goldsmith family all boarded Titanic at Southampton, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, bound for Detroit, Michigan.
Also traveling with the Goldsmith family were family friends Thomas Leonard Theobald and Alfred George John Rush.
Frank John Goldsmith, Thomas Leonard Theobald and Alfred George John Rush were all lost in the sinking, however, Emily Alice Goldsmith, Frank John William Goldsmith and Nathan Goldsmith all managed to board lifeboat collapsible C, and survived.
