Titanic Exhibition opens at Sydney's Moore Park

IT’S been 105 years since the RMS Titanic sank to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean, just four days into its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York — yet the maritime tragedy continues to fascinate and horrify.

For Tom Zaller, the brains behind the Titanic the Exhibition, the reason is clear: it has all the elements of a great story.

“There’s scandal, ambition, achievement, pride, hope, dreams and opulence,” Mr Zaller said.

Before the names Jack and Rose were emblazoned into the cannon of great love stories, the people who chose to board the doomed vessel lived epic lives of their own.
