Cleaning up Titanic soap mystery

Do ladies still bathe with the help of Vinolia Otto Soap, which was available in the luxury cabins of the rich and famous on the doomed maiden voyage of the Titanic in April 1912?

I reproduce today a glossy advert in mint condition from an issue of a vintage magazine published that month all those years ago when the liner struck the iceberg, proclaiming the benefits of Vinolia Otto.

"The highest standard of toilet luxury and comfort at sea," it declares.

So, what is the history of a soap that went down with the Titanic in the north Atlantic?

Could I still wash my face today with the help of this toiletry? If you know the answer, get in touch.
