Poignant Titanic letter written by doomed crewman

A poignant letter written by a doomed crewman of infamous ocean liner Titanic revealing his excitement at joining the ship just days before it sank has emerged for sale for £10,000.

William Barrows penned a short note to his sister Mary on April 9, 1912, to tell her he had landed a job working in the first class saloon of the liner for her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York.

An interesting collection. I hope the Daily Mirror papers are originals and not the copies issued in the 1990s.
