Titanic price expected for first menu

Postby Andrew Clarkson » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:07 pm

With roast duckling and fillet of veal, the passengers of the Titanic sat down to enjoy luxury dining at the first dinner held on board the doomed ship.

And now the menu from that lavish and opulent first meal, eaten as the ship sailed along the English Channel coast after leaving Southampton, is up for auction in Wiltshire next week.
