A new Titanic themed street art piece has been completed on Donegall Road, just off Shaftsbury Square in Belfast.
Members of Sandy Row Community Forum worked with local artist Ed Reynolds to create the mural which features shipyard workers – some of which have been painted with recognisable local faces.
The mural aims to honour the Belfast workers who built the famous Titanic and remember the city’s proud industrial and maritime heritage.
Belfast Lord Mayor Councillor Niall Ó Donnghaile said: “As well as promoting local community links with Titanic, this project is helping to transform previously unkempt areas that have been associated with antisocial behaviour.
