Postby TitanicNut86 » Sun Jul 24, 2011 4:14 am

Nice idea. I just hate to think of the price tag attached to such a gift pack.

The only things I would add would be for a Gold or Platinum edition, conversion sets for both Olympic and Britannic.

As for your list as is, the only other thing I would add would be a bottle of British Gulf Lt Stone paint. This is by far the closest thing I've come across that accurately resembles White Star Buff for the funnels.

I'd love to get my hands on a copy of "A Modelmaker's Guide". So far the only copies I've seen available are far too steep for my price range.

Hello TitanicNut86. Wow. Thats some list. Should this set be available you would also need about 5 years to put it together. I have 5 models of Titanic at various scales only one of which I have actually started to put together. I keep a log of the dates I spend time on it. The last time I did any thing to it was May 9 2009 so it really is about time I got back on it. I have always wanted to have a model of the three sisters in one cabinet in order of scale. I just started three and a half weeks leave so I have no excuse for not getting on with my model building. Ken.

Ken,

here's a link to it. You should find books for fair prices at Amazon. If not send me a line and I'll see what I can do.
