Hello titanicnut. I believe that his body was never found so unless he gets a mention in one of the enquirys and someone remembers seeing Quigg Baxter jumping or trying to swim some where then it's guess work. Ken.

I had thought, bodies that were not recovered must had gone down with the ship? or bodies were recovered but not identified etc... bodies with numbers without names. IMO.

Hello. I had not thought of that before, if bodies were not identified but were then buried at sea. Certainly all bodies not recovered either went down with the ship or drifted into oblivion. I wonder how it was decided if a body was taken back to Halifax or got buried at sea. And were female bodies more likely to be returned to Halifax rather than male bodies. Ken.

Hello. In a tv programme yesterday evening called "Inside the Titanic" it showed Quigg Baxter waiting in the stateroom (C90) of his lady friend Berthe Mayne travelling under an assumed name of Mme Villier in the final moments. But I wouldn't take this to be what actually happened. Ken.

Ken, while I have not watched it, there is a good deal of criticism surrounding that "documentary".
