Ken, I wont argue with you on that. I would believe you are right, this is why I believe men should work on ships in the main jobs and women should only be stewedss only. :)

Question! Unlike Titanic having electric sockets built for in lamps only, these days, America and Europe has different kinds of electrical sockets and different kind of plugs purposely built for many day and night time items. I am guessing that the new titanic would had to accommodate all countries code of electricity appliances on how they fit into the power plug ?

Not necessary, although both Australia and China have different plug specifications, I wonder which one they will follow... Is it the manufacturer, or the owner?

And this is not a big issue anyway, since those travel adapters are sold almost everywhere and can be used on any plug around the world! :D

Oops, I made a mistake, seems like China and Australia use the same plug, which looks like this:

And the Malaysian + Singaporean + UK one is this one:

Lastly, this is the American plug:

Just remember one thing about electricity guys and gals: If your hair stands on end, starts smoking then catches fire, you just made a mistake!

Hello Titanic_Malaysia. That was a very well posted post. I think we (you and us) have the best looking plugs. The Australian plug socket looks like this :o .

Hello Aly. Just in case you didn't understand what I meant when I said that Titanic did have sockets but they sent them into the sky. The rockets that were fired in an attempt to get help were also known as sockets. I am not sure why but I believe it was because to fire them you had to put them into a socket. But I could be wrong on that one. Ken.

Hello, Aly---

The pictures were so large and (in one case) out of focus that they really couldn't be viewed; they were also so large that they distorted the page layout.

They've been removed for those reasons, but you can post smaller versions if you wish.

That's ok Mark. I thought they might had been to big.

Anyways, the Australian sockets and plugs are normal to me and the rest look funny to me. I guess we are use too what we are brought up with.
