My opinion is that Southampton should have a central place and was able to make a memorial event to remember ... but I'm afraid other than walking and beer in a pub not much to see.

Hello Wopke. This year there is a bigger Titanic exibition than usual. There is also whats left of the permenant exibition at the maritime museum although the items from there might have been moved to the new one. I see that you live in NL (Netherlands?) so you have a bit of a journey. I just like being in Southampton for the day and that day for me is April 10th. Ken.

I have waited a long time for the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster. I was so into the story as a boy that My entire second grade class went to see the Queen Mary in the late 80s. I am going to have a party in honor of thomas andrews and his beautiful creation. I know some would think that is wrong a lot of poeple died on april 15 1912 but their was an important lesson learnd and after all it was a night to remember.

Hi Sigvard,
I really would like to see your work. I think that artists are the guardians of honest memory of the great human tragedy. The very act of painting we actually raise the Titanic from the bottom of the ocean revive memories. Despite the fact that he is only on canvas or on paper that is in our souls. Andrew made a good guide as to post our works. In short you have to log in come up topic, click post a reply beat of the text then upload attach.
automatic open file images chose images, open, add attach. submit. In my case it works
like a rocket. What about your PM.
Regards, :D

Imatanic,You have got a good point about your sincere paintings, and the respect shown, which makes a change about what some officer did or not did,or who drank alcohol or not.It is now time to remember the uneccesary sinking of the Titanic and remember all those who perished. And hope that some measures of commonsense are done to prevent the mistakes made, for future generations.

Hi Pat,
Thank you for your really kind words. Yes my pictures are genuine. That my intentions are sincere. As you know my great grandfather was a part of this great tragedy and paying respect to him I give respect for the victims, of course, the creation of thematic works of art. I will always stand in defense of what science has learned about the tragedy.
Manifold discoveries in all sorts of living or other purposes, spinning of historical events in order to earn money simply can not stand.
The letter that is the subject of debate may be the original but the content related to MR. ions smith is simply not acceptable.
Imagine such a reputable Officers with a maritime experience, almost close to retirement who works for the renowned maritime company, who is responsible to transport the passengers to New York sitting in the parlor disheveled, and drank a bottle of champagne. One thing is certain this man is no longer among the living beings and should be left to rest in peace.
I probably will not be physically present in England in April 2012 but my pictures and I think it will be soon in Beverley, Yorkshire to become visible to your public.
Think about my proposal again...
Kind regards,
