Thanks Aly. To be honest, I'm new to the whole Titanic story (about 8 months), but in a short time I've learned a lot. I'm always ready to learn more. ;)

Hello Everyone!

My name is Wayne and I'm in Buffalo, NY. I am a long time Historian and first fell in love with the legendary ship while watching "Raise The Titanic" on our little black and white TV as a child with my father. May as well have been a 60 HD display for the effect it had on me! I'm glad to be a part of your community and I look forward to sharing my project of building a complete museum quality replica of the Marconi wireless room. Like all of you the old saying "If I had to explain it you wouldn't understand" explains it! I'm looking foward to utilizing as much of the shared information on the forum here as possible and hope to not ask too many redundant questions in asking for help along the way.

Kind Regards,
Wayne D.

Your English is much, much better than my German, which doesn't go beyond a few phrases. :D

Hello titanic fan, Welcome. Many Germans type better English than I do, so you will fit in here nicely. ;)

I can read a good deal of German and sing Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, usw, but die Grammatik is horrible and at my age I'll never master it. Even the fact that my great grandfather was named Goethe doesn't seem to help!

Hi Everyone!

My name is Gurjit and I hail from Malaysia. I work as a surgeon. Bought my Titanic collection way back in 2005/2006 and it was kept in the store all this while. Recently did some digging up and decided to start assembling the ill-fated ship model. Would love to share my experience with everyone here as I slowly struggle with the assembly over the weeks/months/years.

Kind Regards,
Gurjit
