The Story of the Titanic.

Postby VW1956 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 6:25 pm

Hello. Yet another book on the subject of Titanic was in "The Works" bookshop. It is called "The Story of the Titanic" by Beau Riffenburgh. I managed to get a very quick glimpse of it before it was whisked away from me by Sharon who says "Thats for Christmas". It looked like a good one. Sharon now has about 11 books for me all put away for Christmas. Ken.

So is this book any good? From the reviews, it appears the major drawback to the book is that the author tends to side with Lord. Other than that most people seem to be satisfied with it. It looks like an interesting set.

Edit: The reason I ask is because I can get a really good buy on it compared to most retailers.

Hello J G Burdette. I would say you should buy this book. It covers just about everything from building of Titanic to Robert Ballards discovery and beyond. Ken.
