Thought it would be cool to open a topic on Titanic facts and trivia. There's some really cool stuff out there. We all know the usual story, but how about some cool facts?

Not bad considering some of what you can find on the big wide web. However...
"Titanic’s funnels were big enough for two trains to drive through" is pushing it a little. At 22ft in diameter, they were twice the size of the London Underground tunnels (11ft diameter), but that doesn't mean two trains could run through them. Still - it goes to show that someone put their research in rather than publishing any old twaddle as seems to be the trend these days.
