Ethel Beane was traveling with her new husband, Edward Beane, and they had boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, and were bound for New York City, New York.

Edward Beane and Ethel Beane boarded lifeboat No. 13, and both survived the sinking.

Ethel Beane died on 17th September, 1983, and was buried in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, Monroe County, New York, U.S.A., the same place that her husband, Edward Beane, was also buried.
