Mini Biography

Edgar Joseph Meyer was traveling with his wife, Leila Meyer, and they boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg, France, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Leila Meyer wanted to remain aboard Titanic with her husband, but she was forcibly placed in lifeboat No. 6, and survived the sinking of the Titanic. Edgar Joseph Meyer was lost  in the sinking, and his body was not recovered or identified.
