Mini Biography

Choong Foo boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Choong Foo was one of the eight Donaldson Line employees, whom, because of the coal strike in England, found themselves without a ship, and so were traveling aboard Titanic to New York in order to join a ship there. The other seven Donaldson Line employees were Lee Bing, Ali Lam, Chang Chip, Lee Ling, Ling Hee, Len Lam and Fang Lang.

Choong Foo was lost in the sinking of Titanic, and his body was not recovered or identified.
