Charlotte Appleton boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to New York City, New York.

Charlotte Appleton was traveling with friends Caroline Lane Brown and Malvina Helen Cornell.

Charlotte Appleton and Malvina Helen Cornell both managed to board lifeboat No. 2, and survived the sinking of the Titanic. Caroline Lane Brown managed to board lifeboat Collapsible D, and also survived.

Charlotte Appleton died on 25th June, 1924, and was buried in an unknown location, in New York.
