Mini Biography

Charles Emil Henry Stengel was traveling with his wife, Annie May Stengel, and they boarded the Titanic at Cherbourg, France, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to Newark, New Jersey.

Charles Emil Henry Stengel managed to board lifeboat No. 1, whilst Annie May Stengel boarded lifeboat No. 5, and they both survived the sinking of Titanic.

Charles Emil Henry Stengel died on the 19th April, 1914, and he was buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, U.S.A., the same place that his wife, Annie May Stengel, is also buried.
