Mini Biography

Carla Christine Nielsine Jensen boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to Portland, Oregon.

Carla Christine Nielsine Jensen was traveling with her uncle, Niels Peder Jensen, her fiance, Hans Peder Jensen, and her nephew, Svend Lauritz Jensen. Niels Peder Jensen had previously emigrated to Portland, Oregon, and on a visit back to Denmark, had offered to help his three relatives to emigrate too.

Niels Peder Jensen, Hans Peder Jensen and Svend Lauritz Jensen were all lost in the sinking, and none of their bodies were identified, however, Carla Christine Nielsine Jensen managed to board lifeboat No. 16, and survived.

Carla Christine Nielsine Jensen died on the 14th March, 1980, in an unknown location.
