Artur Karl Olsen was traveling with his father, Karl Siegwart Andrea Olsen, and they boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, traveling to Brooklyn, New York.

Karl Siegwart Andrea Olsen was lost in the sinking, and his body was not recovered, but Artur Karl Olsen managed to board lifeboat No. 13, and survived.

Artur Karl Olsen died on the 1st January, 1975, and he was buried in Royal Palm South Cemetery, Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, U.S.A.
