Mini Biography

Anna Sofia Sjöblom was traveling with her friends, brothers Karl Johan Wiklund and Jakob Alfred Wiklund, and they all boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912.

Karl Johan Wiklund and Jakob Alfred Wiklund were both bound for Montreal, Quebec, whilst Anna Sofia Sjöblom was traveling to Olympia, Washington.

Karl Johan Wiklund and Jakob Alfred Wiklund were both lost in the sinking of Titanic, and only the body of Karl Johan Wiklund was recovered and identified.

Anna Sofia Sjöblom managed to board lifeboat No. 16, and survived.

Anna Sofia Sjöblom died on 3rd November, 1975, and was buried in Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, Pierce County, Washington, U.S.A.
