TITANIC-TITANIC.com | Titanic Second Class Passenger - HOOD, Mr Ambrose Jr

Ambrose Hood boarded the Titanic at Southampton, England, on Wednesday, 10th April, 1912, but his destination is not known.

Ambrose Hood was traveling with Leonard Mark Hickman, Stanley George Hickman, Lewis Hickman, Percy William Deacon, William Dibden and Charles Henry Davies.

Leonard Mark Hickman was a successful farmer in Eden, Manitoba, Canada, and returned home to England to persuade other members of the Hickman family and family friends to emigrate to Canada too.

None of the seven members of the Hickman group managed to board a lifeboat, and only the body of Lewis Hickman was recovered and identified.

There is a memorial dedicated to Ambrose Hood in St. Peters Church, Bramshaw Nr. Romsey, Hampshire, England, see here below.
